Emotionally attached

Do any of you girls feel confident and so strong when you have your husband or SO in your life? Like a more confident girl. But as soon as divorce or break up occurs you feel lonely and low self esteem? Am I the only one? After break up I'm a different person and when in a relationship I feel more cool and brave.
