Sore throat at 17 weeks... Can I take meds?

I have a super sore throat with a stuffy nose and I feel horrible. Is there anything I can take to feel better at 17 weeks pregnant? I've been drinking hot tea all day and it's not helping! Help

I took Sudafed pe for 10 days (doctor said only 10 days) and used a nasal spray. Both did wonders for the stuffy nose. I also did halls cough drops for my sore throat. Mine wasn't that bad though, so the cough drops were enough.

Add a tea spoon of baking soda and half a spoon of salt to a glass of warm water and gargle. You can also use saline nasal drops for your nose

Tylenol sever head congestion and cold took it when I got sick twice. Dr told me acetaminophen is ok along with sudafed

Sudafed pe is great and most* dr approved it have Tylenol in it so it is not recommended to take another 325 or 500mg with it.

Robitussin Dm Doctor let me take it and it helped especially since I had gotten a cold too. Hope you feel better. Warm baths and lots of rest.
