Clomid and Twins?

I was recently given clomid even though I already naturally ovulate. But the doctor said it would help make it a stronger ovulation. Anyways, I looked up the drug info and I've seen that clomid increases your chances of twins. I'd be lying if I said I want twins. But the doctor didn't mention anything about that possibility. Now I'm wondering if I should even take the clomid!

I ovulate on my own and after a year of trying, my doctor put me on 50 mg of Clomid and we are having twins. Twins do run on my mom's side of the family, so it's hard to say if it was genetics or the Clomid, since it was such a small dose.

It only ups your chances by like 11% I took clomid and had an IUI but I have had my first ultrasound yet so I don't know if it's one or two but I kinda hope for two but either way I am happy. Oh and I also ovulate on my own and still took clomid.

It's higher than normal ovulation, I think 5 to 10% it really depends on the oerson. If you have a monitored cycle then they can tell you how many follicles are mature at the time of ovulation. I had 3 this month, so he told me I had to consent to treatment knowing twins was a good possibility.

My doc said clomid may increase the amount of eggs you produce, thereby increasing chances of twins.

It's slightly Higher but not huge. My RE said only about 5% on Clomid (normal rate is 2-3%). I was in that 5% but unfortunately lost one at 8wks.

I may start that next month but my Docter said you could have a bigger chance of having twins and even Triplett.

The chances of twins is pretty low. As far as I know. When you to a follicle study they will say how many follicles have matured.
