Baby Blues worse at night?

I'm 9 days postpartum. I have been sick with a moderate case of anemia and also a chest infection. My husband works 1pm-8pm and every night like clockwork around 6pm my baby blues get almost too much to handle. Anyone else have this issue? I'm hoping it'll go away soon or I'll be paying a visit to my doctor.....

Me too! Its hArder for me at night. I think its hormones and tge season change. It helps me to talk to friends and family. It seems to be nore common than you think. Hang in there!

You could just be really tired. The first couple weeks I would get so tired by the end of the day that I would cry at everything and basically just my husband to take care of her.

My best advice is to eat really healthy, lots of good iron source foods, sleep when the baby sleeps and try to find support! A healthy mom goes along way towards feeling better!

I hope it gets better soon! Remember, don't be hard on yourself... You just gave birth, are anemic, and have a chest infection. You're body's working way, way overtime. Give your dr a call.. They should be quite familiar with these [common] feelings! Good luck momma!
