Today we got our results from the nuchal translucency ultrasound/bloodwork. The nurse said the result was abnormal (3.5mm) and referred us to a genetics counsellor. I initially only opted for the NT because I was so sure nothing would be wrong (we are 27, first baby). I'm not willing to go for amnio or cvs, so what options are there now? She wouldn't even give us our odds of having a healthy baby. Do I just live with this misery and uncertainty until the baby is born? Anyone had a similar situation?
