Ultrasound question?

I am 18 weeks ❤️ and I have not got an ultrasound in 2 months my dr said my next one will be when I turn 20 weeks? I thought ultrasounds are given every month? I have taken blood test results are all good just no ultrasound until December 😩

Some people only get 2-3 ultrasounds throughout the pregnancy :/

No you only get ultrasounds twice during your pregnancy usually once to confirm when baby is due and the other at 20

With my ob, he listens for the heartbeat every 4 weeks. With my perinatal dr, she sees me every 4 weeks and looks at the baby.

Nope..unless your high risk, you'll most likely only have 2 ultrasounds. You had one when you first found out you were pregnant to see how far along you are, then you'll have one at 20 weeks to see what your having. That's exactly what they're doing with me. My ultrasound to find out the sex is on the 30th, which is when I'll be 20 weeks and 3 days along 😕 but I have to wait..don't worry..at least you have a normal pregnancy. I know you don't get as many ultrasounds, but you know your baby is nice and healthy 👍👌

I get one at my monthly visit at my OB in addition to anatomy scans but that's what my doctor does.

Depends on the on and so many other factors. With my first I had one ultrasound and that was the anatomy scan.

I had one with my first pregnancy and two with this one because I'm super high risk due to weight. They don't normally do more than two unless you have multiples and are high risk.

I had one at 11+6 weeks and won't have my next one til December 8th when I'm 19+6 weeks. It sucks to wait especially when you want to know the sex!

I've had a few but that's not usual.... There were questions on how many babies I was having in the beginning but now that it's confirmed I'm only having one I'll had a 19 week one and doctor said won't have another til about 32 weeks. It's not necessary to have one every month unless you're high risk.
