Anyone else?

My hours decreased at work (due to pregnancy) and now it's like my checks are so small and bills are just piling up. 
Today I'm just stressing so much because on top of bills it's like nobody wants to come to my baby shower next week. And if I get my hours back the baby might come early. (Decreased my hours because I started contracting at work from over doing it)

I'm primary bread winner in our house hold. (While hubby finishes school). Cutting back for me Is not an option. I've worked shifts from 6 hours up to almost 11hours. Yes I have had some contractions at work- I'm on a cement floor all day throwing boxes, lifting shelving, and just running all over the place- but I My productivity is down but everyone expected that.

Now for December we have so much going on outside of work that I'm cutting back just because I won't be in town- but I alternate weeks. One week I'll work my full 40 or a tad more the next week I'll work 30 or so.

We just can't afford for me to stop. I have to have at least $600 coming in at each check for us to live. I told my husband that unless the doctor says so I'm gonna work until she pops out of me.

(We are also going to be closing on our house at the end of December- I'm due January 6)

I wish I could do that, but it's not really an option for my position within my job. I work with children with autism providing intensive behaviour intervention, and our clients can be pretty aggressive and hard to deal with sometimes. I am just getting through it one day at a time and counting down the days until I'm on maternity leave. 40 days to go !

Feeling the same right now. Tried cutting down hours but the checks ain't really enough so went back to working more. I'm pushing myself as much as I can right now cause the baby shower is coming up and we're spending too much on it (our family is huge) but next month I'm cutting down my hours for sure. Hope you'll feel better!

Yea I actually requested less hours because I get tired easily and being on my feet 8hrs wasn't fun, I agree my checks are smaller but I am more rested and hubby helps me out with bills.
