Does anyone else feel like they're never going to want kids?

I have no maternal instinct whatsoever and I can't stand being around young children. I don't think I'm ever going to want kids and just wanted to know that I'm hopefully not the only one!

So I'm not particularly maternal. And while I'm still really young (22), I've had this discussion with my boyfriend. We plan on getting married sometime in the future. And he desperately wants kids. I always thought that if I wanted kids, I'd adopt. But I definitely do not want to give birth to a child, and am ready to take the permanent precautions to make sure that doesn't happen. He's agreed with me to adopt. I think it's a happy medium? It's complicated. But I totally don't understand the women who all their life wanted to be mothers. Great for them, but I was never like that.

Yeah I'm 17 and I don't know, I don't think I really want kids.  They're so much money and take so much energy out of you.  I would rather spend my time at the gym and going on romantic dates with my future husband and my money traveling.  Plus I want to look hot till the day I die, which is something that seems harder to accomplish with children.  Also our world is already over-populated, so really not having kids isn't doing any harm but, actually good.

I know a lot of people who do not and won't ever want kids, for the same reasoning as you. That's not a problem. Your life, your body.

I however am that person who's torn because of fear of the child--health complications, behavioral issues, etc, or maybe I'll be a shit show of a parent.

We have time to decide these things. There's no rush figuring it out now.

I know perry of people who don't want them and I know they won't change their mind. I know my aunts both didn't and didn't change their mind either. 
They're not for everyone. Children are work. 
There's no need to feel badly about it.

Some people say they would never wanna have kids but later on that could change lol I have a friend who never wants kids but he's also not fully matured yet
