Should it hurt that much?

I had sex recently and it hurt really bad. I know hurting is not part of the experience. Is that normal?

First you can avoid any pain by telling him to take it easy because when he does whatever exactly it is that he's doing, it hurts you.

If it's your first time it's normal because your body tenses up and doesn't have enough lubrication. Only practice will take a pain like this away. If it hurts on the vaginal wall every time you have sex and not at the entrance I would suggest going to the Gynocologist because it could be a number of things. 
If by off chance your experienced in sex and it's a reoccurring sharp pain deep within when he's insurted fully, most likely he's touching your cervix and I would caution you because tearing the cervix will not only hurt like a hot knife but it will cause a tear and serious bleeding, and if the bleeding is severe enough they will need to do emergency surgery.

I know I have pain when he builds up pressure in certain positions. Other than that it's not normal and you might wanna see a doctor for it
