Goat Cheese ok??

Question

I always make Ina Garten's goat cheese mashed potatoes every thanksgiving but I may have to sacrifice this year as I read goat cheese should be avoided. It also has sour cream and Parmesan. Is this ok since it will be baked??

It says stay away from unpasteurized dairy but I'm sure as long as it's baked it should be fine. Goat cheese is a favorite of mine.

It's only safe if the goat milk used to make the cheese has been pasteurized! Don't eat any unpasteurized dairy or juices :)

Goat cheese is my favorite cheese, no way I can't eat it haha, just buy some that's pasteurized and you'll be fine :)
