Teacher
I am a teacher and a coach for a varsity and jv dance team, 12 weeks pregnant. I just told my administration that I am pregnant and that next year I would like to give up the jv team and focus solely on varsity dance team and my child. Therefore they would need to hire someone to direct the jv team.
They responded with a choice: either coach both or I will be displaced (legal way for them to fire me).
My administrators are women who have families. I am outraged. Dance is my passion and giving up one team was a hard choice in itself. They are making me choose between family and my job (paycheck, insurance).
