Hey all my name is Brittany. I'm 25 years old and my husband and I have been married almost 2 years. He has an 8 year old from a previous marriage but we have finally decided to try for one of our own. My history is tricky however. I have endometriosis and dyspareunia. I was diagnosed through surgery in 2011. I started taking birth control to try to prevent it from returning. Unfortunately, we tried to transition me to another birth control and it returned. If any of you know how endometriosis works I really only have pain during my period......BAD PAIN!.......in many areas and I won't go into detail for yalls sake...so the dr decided to suppress it all together. They won't do another surgery to prevent more scarring since I have not had a child yet. Well it's been 3 YEARS now since I have had a period and hate gone pain free. I got off the pill in October and started trying straight away. Unfortunately it was a fail and I just had my first cycle after 3 years and it was probably the worst pain of my life. Im really struggling because intercourse is painful..very painful ..and I can barely get through it.. I'm hoping this happens fast because I'm not sure how many months I can go through this. 😢 Any suggestions on maybe boosting fertility. Just want to make sure I'm doing my part.
