How will you celebrate Thanksgiving with your newborns?

I can't believe we are here! 7 days after birth and the pain is giving in day after day and my heart is filled with joy! This should be the most memorable Thanksgiving of all and yet we have no plans for it whatsoever! (Also our wedding anniversary on the 27th!) How will you guys be celebrating with your newborns? I thought about scheduling a family photoshoot...
Any other ideas on how to make it special?

I'm due tomorrow. If baby shows up before Thanksgiving, my mom is bringing food to us. If he's still not here, we will go to my mom's house and try not to be cranky 😕  Odds are I'll be in labor while everyone else is eating, just because that's the way things seem to go for me. *sad trombone sound*

My little girl is almost 3 weeks old, we are going to both grandmas houses for dinners (one in afternoon, one in evening).

I agree with the turkey craft idea! After 8 years of infertility and loss my family had so much to be thankful for. Our baby Emilia has finally joined our family and had brought with her so much healing and joy. Best Thanksgiving ever!

If baby is here by then we plan to just stay home and snuggle. I bet you could make a little turkey craft with baby's hand! Then you could always have a little piece of artwork.

We are having a low-key Thanksgiving this year. My family is visiting and bringing us food. We are only responsible for making a casserole and having the baby on hand for them to love on. :)

Due Monday. But may be induced due to baby's size. If before then. We will just sit home and relax if she comes after. We will try to spend it at a family members house
