Does your SO underestimate you?

The other day my SO and I were talking and came to the topic of my grandpa's funeral. He wanted us to spend the day shooting, so we did. We shot tons of wax bullets and some bullets which contained his ashes. My SO and I were friends and co-workers before this and we talked about shooting, gun debates, etc. I'm a great shot; dead center is my sweet spot. I can shoot anything I lay hands on and shotgun is my favorite. He knows all this but hadn't seen me shoot until the funeral.

My SO said that he was shocked I could shoot at all. He didn't think I'd be good at it because I stated I was. He also referenced me being a "liberal" as another indicator that I'd be a poor shot..... like, WHAT?! I was sort of hurt that he didn't have faith in my abilities. I'm amazing and it seemed like he doesn't think I'm worthy of much. I shock him often. He didn't think I could cook because his last gf was lazy and made him do all the cooking. He couldn't believe that I can sing because he's tone deaf lol Everything is like a mystery to him....
