Blocked on social media

I recently caught my boyfriend talking to his ex. I had a talk with him, he said he would stop. But since then he been acting extremely distance from me. This weekend he wanted to go camping with his friends for three days and I had no problem about it. The first day he gone I found out that he blocked me on snapchat, deleted his Instagram. When I called him he never pick up. It been three days and I been completely depressed but I kept it calm I didn't blow up his phone or act in anyway. I know at this point our relationship is ruined. I just don't know how I'm going to handle it when he finally call. Does anyone has some advice for me? Should I stay calm and give him another chance or should I walk away? And I don't understand what is up with this generation? What happened to the good old breaking up? These days we just blocked number and disappeared from someone that used to meant so much?
