Bit of a short story. I left home, I just left. I ran away to another country and never looked back and I don't care to go back. I didn't contact my family for over a year, I still barely talk to my parents. They hurt me greatly and I honestly wish I could cut them out of my life. I can't though, because I have a little 9 year old sister who I love so much. So talking to her involves having to communicate with my parents at times. But I worry greatly about how I've affected her life, and what she might think of me. Which leads me to the question of this post. 

QUESTION:

Have you ever had a sibling (or equal), just disappear one day? With no comment about where they went or why they left? And then not communicate for over a year or more?

How did it make you feel, what did you do, did you resent them for leaving?

NOTES:

My sister is only 9 years old. I couldn't tell her I left because our parents were being so rotten to me. You can't tell that to a 9 yo, she wouldnt understand and thats not something I want her to think about for the next 10 years that she grows up with them. I just pray that they don't treat her like they treated me.
