Tongue piercing?!

Has anyone had this happen to there nearly tongue piercing, I got it pierced 4 days ago. It's like a blood blister, I've been so good with cleaning it as well 😭 Mind my dirty tongue.

When i got mine that happen also .. But nothing was wrong. I brushed around it & kept using mouthwash.. It will go away soon .. Its still in the process of healing, dont worry to much

Looks like a keloid. Go back to your piercer and see what they say before u take it out

If it is infected don’t take it out - get treatment from a doctor first because once you take it out it will close and closing around the bacteria is not good!

I've had mine pierced about 5 years now. Looks like your body might be rejecting it, kind of like a keloid on your ears

Your body might be fighting the piercing. I got mine done 4 days ago and mine is still swollen, yesterday my tongue was still white and I looked it up, the white fuzzy looking tongue is just a natural immune reaction to the piercing, mine just started going away last night. What kills me now is the swelling, so I’ve always got ice chips in a mug to dissolve on my tongue lol.

i had one too, and i, being the weird girl i am, peeled it off when the blood drained out of it. came back the next morning, same thing and rinsed my mouth and it never came back. i'm prone to keloids. i have 11 piercings and got keloids for everyone of them (i'm mixed with black, white, indian and mexican). so i get them easily. one of my two nipple piercings got one when i got it first pierced then it went away. if you're concerned go to your piercer. if you're not really worried, rinse every 4-5 hours with alcohol free mouthwash and you'll be fine. (4-5 hours because if you do it everytime you eat or drink, your tongue will get really tender and dry, mine did atleast so i changed my timing).

Tongues should heal relatively quickly. You may be over cleaning it as well. Mouth wash should be diluted 1:1 with water!

Never has my tounge pierced but you said mind the dirty tounge if your mouth is dirty your piercing will get dirty and gross. From my research based on when I wanted to pierce my tounge you gotta like brush your teeth and tounge and not smoke (if you do smoke) and do the salt water wash or whatever.
