My beautiful baby boy is one week old today and I am so full of love for my sweet little man! ♡

On to what I didn't expect. There are many articles I've read about Dad feeling neglected once the baby is born because baby takes most of mom's attention at first. I haven't noticed my husband feeling that way, but I, on the other hand - the only way I can think to describe it is I miss him. Not that he's gone, but while he's right there in the same room, I miss him, overwhelmingly so. It has brought me to tears a few times. We have always been very cuddly with each other. We're that "it's just not realistic" couple that cuddles every single night and fairly often during the evenings. But since having the baby, we haven't been able to at all and I just miss him terribly :(
