My high school sweetheart wouldn't get a job after I had provided for us for years. Shortly after our wedding I begged him to get a job so that college would be easier on me, but he refused. So he was doing nothing and I was a full time student and working full time. After 5 years together he threw it all away after I gave him an ultimatum. I had a miscarriage anf missed some work while recovering and he Get a job or go ti school. He refused. I called his mom because he refused to leave the house i paid for and supported. She had to make him leave. It was heart breaking and a lot of people called me heartless and selfish but I just couldn't do everything anymore. And personally? I think it says a lot about a person who is willing to let their partner carry every burden and do everything. It was the best thing that happened to me. Eventually I healed and found my current SO and I can't believe that i put up with some of the stuff my ex did. It was just disrespectful on so many levels and I've started seeing how much better a healthy relationship is and how i deserve (and can have!) so much better! I wish you luck and I honestly hope he just gets a job.

My fiancé is working 60-70+ hours a week to support us so I can rest and stay home with our daughter. Call me old fashioned but I think fathers should provide, or be a stay at home dad. They don't get to just do nothing.  Especially when you're pregnant working full time to make a baby! Everyone has to help! You shouldn't have to handle the stress of working and worrying about him because you'll need time off after baby and he needs to get his butt to work!

There will always be that fight. But you have you stand strong and he needs to know he has to have a job. 
If you have to tell him he has 30 days to get a job or he's gotta move out.

My wife is working her ass off right now in Atlanta two hours away from me to provide for us because I have been on Bedrest. She couldn't find a job here so till she does she has been commuting. It's hard but not impossible. Maybe he should look in other areas around y'all?? Have you seen him looking. Actually applying? Making call backs? Trying to schedule interviews. As soon as my daughter comes I plan to start back work fulltime while my wife is a SAHM while at school.
