I'm 36 weeks and 4 days. I went to L & D last night because of severe back pain and contractions that were measuring 4 minutes apart. I drank nearly 2 bottles of water right before I went. They checked me and said I was still closed but they were going to monitor me so they monitored my contractions and came in and said I needed terbutaline to slow them down. So they gave me a shot in my arm and checked me and I was at 1cm. I started getting really shaky and extremely nauseas and almost threw up several times. They came back in an hour later and said I was still having contractions pretty close together but I was still at a 1 so they said it was BH and I was dehydrated so they sent me home. Today I have been extremely nauseas and do not feel like myself besides the (sorry TMI) large amounts of blood clots that seem to be coming out. I kept mentioning this to the nurse before I left the hospital and she kept telling me it was normal. I'm still having some contractions but they aren't as close together. Does anyone have any opinions on this? The terbutaline made me feel horrible and I'm so close to 37 weeks I feel like they just dismissed me.
