Being induced, advice?

Question

I'm on my third pregnancy. The baby is much smaller than my other two. I am supposed to be due on January 5, but advised that I'd be induced  by December 15. It steers way from stillbirth, but is there a chance to wait it out? I know I don't want the risk of any troubles, but born at 36 weeks is not my intention either.

I'm having that problem right now I'm almost 34 weeks but my belly measure it's 31 for 3dt time visit so I'm gonna get an ultrasound tomorrow to see if everything it's ok but still I'm worried

I was born at 36 weeks, lots of babies are. Your babe will be better off out than in as he/she will be fed better that way! Same thing is happening with my bub and my midwife said that if he isn't being fed properly through the placenta that's why he is small and he will be better off being out and fed up properly than staying in and not being fed right! Xx

Why are they inducing at 36 weeks? Not sure where you're from but my understanding is they couldn't induce prior to 39 weeks unless it's for a medical reason.
