So I have a dead embryo in me with no heartbeat and it's bleeding. Not viable at 8 weeks and it shrunk. My husband is military and we just moved back to "the dirty south" as we call it in our military circle to Alabama. (This is my 15th state and 2nd country I have lived in) I had the ultrasound yesterday and check this out. In Alabama, I have to have a second ultrasound 1 week after to confirm there is no heartbeat again and this pregnancy is dead before they will do the d and c to terminate since my body won't reject this dead fetus. So basically because of the crazy religious fanatics here I have to carry a dead baby for a extra week and then get it removed. Not to mention it's over the holiday weekend... Thank you again religious freaks to add insult to injury.
