Ok, so we went from being super excited with my anatomy scan (healthy baby) to being called back and told I have a complete placenta praevia. This is my third baby and I'm super worried. My appt was with the midwife today so she told me all that she knew but scheduled another appt with the ob later to answer my questions. I'm really trying to stay off google but she talked about the possibility of bleeding and an early csection delivery. I know she was informing me of worst case scenarios and the most likelies. The midwife put me on complete pelvic rest (hubby's not happy lol) and wants a follow up sono at 28 wks to confirm the placenta's position but that it's unlikely for it to completely uncover the cervical opening. 😞 Anyway I need to hear from any mamas that have had this and your experience.
