I personally didn't know there was a such thing as a "back labor"... Lets just say... Now I know! My contractions started around 6:00am on Wednesday the 18th, with this being my second baby I thought everything was going to be similar. I was wrong!! I woke up with excruciating low back pain that only continued to get worse and worse... The pain in my back was nearly as painful as every contraction! This means NO BREAKS between each contraction!! It made it so hard to move, think, even breathe! Non stop pain on top of every contraction! By 9:00am I got to the hospital, 6cm dialated and almost begging for relief!  I felt like such a wuss :( As I was hoping to go natural again! Although im disappointed, the joy of having my second son in my arms at 4:30pm that same day made it all better!
