Should I call tomorrow?

2 weeks ago Thursday I had blood drawn to test for down syndrome and 2 other chromosome disorders and it also tells gender.  Dr said he would go over results next appointment  (another 2 weeks from now) but I want to know!  Do you think the results are in?  Would you call tomorrow?

It's a girl! 💗 Dr hasn't seen results so they couldn't tell me the chromosome results.  But I'm so excited to be having a girl. Doesn't seem real 😍😍😍😍

I called...nurse was looking at my results!  My dr isn't there today so she's checking to see if another dr minds looking real quick and she said she would call me back.  I kind of wish I would have asked if she could just tell me the gender  (I doubt that has to be signed off by the dr) but my dr just got a new nurse so I don't know her very well.  His old nurse I have been seeing for 6 years!  Dang

No. Your doctor is busy, and told you when they would give you results.

We did combined screening (bloods done at 10 weeks and ultrasound at 12). The doctor called a few hours after my ultrasound with the results. I imagine they'd already have them.

Call after a week or so and just ask, that's what I did. It's a big test, so they understand you wanting to make sure all is ok.

He said I could call ahead if I was anxious but he made it sound like it wouldn't be in until the week before my appointment but it seems like most people get it back in 5 days

I called 6 days after test and got no result. They called me the next day with the result !

Yes, call you have the right to know ... in doctors world "no news is good news" you should be able to get the gender results over the phone , i did 10 days after my test was done !!
