Bleeding after sex?!?!? Copper IUD

I've been sexually active for 5 years now with the same guy, and I've never had an issue with pain, discomfort or bleeding before. I got a copper IUD back in May this year and sex since has been more painful specifically in the "doggy style" position As well as recently when I've had sex right after there's blood there as if it were my period but I know it's not my period because it goes away after I clean up and there was no blood the next day. I'm wondering if my IUD is the cause behind this and if I should sex medical attention. Has anyone else has this problem?

I have tried to find the strings for my IUD and I can't so I think that has something to do with it! I don't think it's too serious though because there is no pain or anything when having sex.. Just don't know why I'm occasionally bleeding. So weird.

I use to bleed after having sex as well. Especially doggie style. But I think it also depends on how hard you go because my last partner was very rough and I would bleed each time but my current partner isn't as rough and I never bleed.

This happens to me too!!!!!!!! Not sure what to think about it but I only bleed sometimes..... And not very much. I think I am going to go to the doctor. I have the copper IUD also

Happens  to me in certain positions. I can't have my bf go all the way in as it's uncomfortable sometimes and I bleed after. Can apparently have something to do with the positioning.

This happens to me and I don't have the copper iud but I do have the mirena iud, I am very consistent with the man I sleep with and its not the iud's technical fault, if you have sex and the man you sleep with goes really deep he can possibly hit your cervix or your iud causing a little bit of blood, I talked to my doctor about this and it's just your body's way of telling you that you've bumped up there, just be careful if it happens a lot or gets to be painful when this happens go in and talk about it but it's nothing really to worry about, if you've bumped the iud or your body its natural for your body to let you know, maybe if you notice it consistently with one position ask your partner to maybe try and go a little easier or not so deep
