How to switch positions...

Now I've had boyfriends before & they normally "wear the pants" when having sex & make all the moves. My current boyfriend (the man of my dreams!) is awesome & we have sex but for whatever reason we've only done the position where I'm on top. He does do for play & what not, but any ideas how to get him to make some moves in switching positions, I like being on top & all but I'm ready for some other positions to make our sex even better! & I have hinted to him before (not while having sex) about trying new positions, but nothing has happened yet... Any suggestions?
