Second baby rant...

My son was conceived 10 months after we eloped, and no one thought we were ready, true we were young (19,21) but we were married and happy-ish, and he was a complete surprise to us both. When he was a year old we seperated and ended up getting a divorce, all because we were young our families hated us, and we were ill-equipped for marriage. After 2.5 years we reconciled our differences and ended up seeing each other again. Which that went on for 3 years before we were re-married. 

Suddenly both our families are happy to see us married, and happy we are together, and we conceived our second child on our wedding night...

With all that said, everyone around us, have bent over backwards to help provide and are as excited if not more than us for the arrival of our new little one...we've had so much stuff given to us, so much stuff bought for us, and excitement spilled out everywhere....

But when I was pregnant with our son, no one helped with anything we bought everything ourselves, everyone told us to abort our baby, and we were ready, and so now whAt?!

We've proven ourselves as parents so  another child is good in yalls eyes?? What so??? Were a few years older???

What's the difference here?? A baby is a baby!! 

Am I wrong for feeling like it's not fair to my other child for everyone to be so happy and excited about this baby when no one besides mommy and daddy wanted him?? Sure everyone loves my son...NOW!! Now that he's here and stuck in the family, now that they can see him and have found out that he's a pretty darn cute kid...but what about when I was pregnant with him?? Why do they all want his sister but they didn't want him??
