The holidays are here...jewelry stores claim it's engagement season and wanted to get an idea when men propose...please feel free to share engagement stories and ring pics!

My husband "proposed" to me on his birthday in May when we were at my parents house building a shed for my dad. And his way of proposing was to just look at me and say July 17th, that's the day. And so it was, we got married two months later lol I am not into big show of affection and stuff so I thought it was perfect but people seem surprised or even upset that he didn't get on one knee or do something romantic.

My husband proposed to me in April 2014 at Mt. Bonnell in Austin. It was a perfect day with a perfect sunset and a spectacular view of the hill country and the city. It was rudely interrupted by a fitness photographer and model who decided that it was appropriate to tell us to move because where we were provided enough sunlight for good photos. It was still one of the top 3 best days of my life.

My SO left a treasure hunt for me around the city to all our favourite places, at each stop was a friend or relative waiting with a photo of the next place, the last clue was a plane ticket to my hometown where my parents picked me up and drive me to where he was waiting with a ring ❤️ love our story
