So can you decline being induced before 40 weeks? With my last GD pregnancy I was insulin and metformin dependant and I was induced at 38 weeks. The labour it's self was fantastic and better and faster than my first none induced labour and again didn't need pain meds but my baby has such a poor immune system and had jaundice being born early (consultants have admited this) and I just don't think she was ready at all to come. So yeh I guess I'm saying if and when it comes up again the talk about induction can I decline it? I'm in the Uk btw so I know things work different here . I would of course accept extra monitoring via ultra sound to make sure fluid levels are okay and placenta etc and any sign of distress I would straight away get induced
