Cervix ?

Just wondering on glow it asks how your cervix is. Why does it matter ?  Does it change when your pregnant ? I'm new to this

I'm almost five weeks I believe (we go to the doctor to see how far along we are next week) but my cervix is high closed and soft already.

It changes throughout your cycle. Low closed and hard is non fertile, high soft open is fertile. After ovulation it really isn't much of a sign of anything (like cervical mucus)
