When did you hear the heartbeat?

I see women saying they heard it at 6w.. I am quite over weight by the pic.. I weigh around 280.. My Dr. Said we won't hear it until passed 10w.. We only seen it at 6w3d. When did you actually hear it?

I heard our daughters heartbeat at 6w5d and weighed 315lb, my dr did a transvaginal ultrasound

I did hear the heartbeat at 6 weeks but only with an internal ultrasound up until like 12 weeks. It took a bit of time to find her heartbeat on a Doppler. I was 306 at first.

I didn't actually hear the heartbeats until 24 weeks.  Had ultrasounds for twins up to that point.  It's really up to docs discretion.  He/she doesn't want to work a mom up if they can't find the heart beat.

At my 10 week appointment they tried but we couldn't hear it yet. At my 14 week appointment had no problem finding and hearing the heartbeat.

I heard it at around 7 weeks with my first. I was also about 49 pounds over a "normal" weight. I think it depends on the doctor.

I had a ultrasound at my first appointment at 10weeks ( it was a suprise baby and I didn't find out till 10 weeks ) and heard the heart beat at 15 weeks.
