Conceiving after the pill?

Question

How long did it take you to conceive after you came off of birth control? I was on the pill for about 8 1/2 years. I was on Minastrin FE 24. My last pill was taken November 10th. Still trying to figure out my cycle to figure out when I will be fertile. I guess it will be easier once I get my first natural period. But was just trying to get some signs of hope on how long it took you mama's to conceive after the pill.

I have not yet conceived but am trying! I went off in August, started trying in September. My cycles have been crazy since going off birth control. My biggest advice is try opk's because it helps you learn about your cycle and when your body ovulates! My doctor recommended it and it really helps me as I found out I don't ovulate at cd 14, it's usually a few days later close to cd 20-22. Hoping this month it works for us!!

When I went off the pill we waited one cycle (dr told us to so we would be able to predict due date better). We got pregnant immediately after our 'wait cycle'.

I got off the pill in October. My last period was October 3, 2015 and we started trying October 10, 2015. We found out we were pregnant November 14, 2015. It didn't take long for me at all. I was on the pill since 2009. And I was switched many different times because my body would react negatively to them. The last type I had was the one I was on the longest, a year.

4th month I got pregnant. My doc told me to wait 3 months after stopping the pill before trying but we didn't.

I conceived 6 months later with my 1st & 4 months later with my 2nd. Wasn't trying really. But It can take up to a year. And even longer if it was depo or implant. I've heard many conceiving by a year from the pill and up to 2 years with other BC methods. Good thing you used the pill! Lol

I was on the pill for about the same time as you. With my first child it took 3 months and with my second 2 months. Hoping the pattern will continue with my third! Good luck!
