Cramping after ovulation????

I had two very high ovulation days two days ago. My husband and I did have intercourse during ovulation and I've been cramping ever since. Back and tummy cramps very similar to period cramps. Is this normal

cramping during ovulation is called mittelschmerz and it's pretty common. it's basically pain in relation to your body getting ready to release an egg
