My answer's a little late but you can volunteer. There are tons of homeless shelters that need help serving holiday meals. You would be helping others and yourself since you wouldn't be alone.

I honestly have the same question right now... My family is 8 hours away, my SO has to drive 2hours to see his parents first thing on Christmas morning but because I don't feel safe or respected by his mother (and because I haven't been invited) I get to sit at home, by myself, until SO gets back...

Keep busy set yourself little things to do.  Maybe see of there is anything u can go to that's festive on your own and see people
