I really like him....but he's not my type 😐

I have this friend. He's sweet and supportive, and lately I can't get enough of him. Only roadblock is, he's not my physical type. He's not unattractive, but I'm used to a certain look and never imagined myself stepping out of it. Should I go for it anyway, or stay in my lane?
