I work in a hospital and I often get put on call when our census is low. This often occurs around the holidays. I got put on call this morning and my SO was infuriated with me. He told me I need to find a better job with more pay. I'm in nursing school right now and work as a CNA. I'm doing what I love and I understand that the pay isn't always the best. Experience is sometimes worth more though. It would be different if we were tight on money, but we aren't. Him and I make around the same on our paychecks as well. He is also upset because he broke his new cell phone and is stuck using an old phone. He threw a fit last night because I said it was ridiculous to pay over $300 for a new phone. I just can't justify spending that much money on a phone, especially around the holidays. He was yelling at me in the car and saying how I never let him get what he wants. He has broken 4 phones in the last year. It's irrational to spend a ton of money on an expensive phone that will probably end up getting broken. Am I being irrational?
