Suggestions for weight loss for a SAHM??

Question

Baby boy isn't due until May but I'm already concerned with how I can lose the weight. I'm going to be home with him all day, everyday. What are some of the ways you lost weight after baby?

Breastfeeding. . I've always been below my prepregnancy weight within a few weeks simply by nursing. (& i'm bigger to begin with)

I breastfed, walked 2 miles either baby wearing or pushing the stroller (I usually broke it down into one mile in the am, one in the afternoon) and ate relatively clean. Later on I added Zumba on the Xbox during her naps or Nike training club. Doing that, I lost 50 lbs (gained 35 during pregnancy) in a year.

-Join a gym or local pool

I agree with a lot of the previous tips above too. Sometimes I just turn on some fun music and dance around the living room as I'm picking up toys with my two toddlers or cleaning the kitchen. You can fit a squat or a lunge in anywhere really, You can be watching a show and sit in the floor and do a few sit ups during each commercial break. Take two steps at a time if you have stairs in your house. I personally hate working out, so I just do whatever I can when I can and don't stress how many minutes I work out in a day.

If you're not breastfeeding, check out the 21 day fix, I know alot of people who have done it/are doing it and each 21 day cycle they lose from 7-11 lbs.. It's a portion system and exercise routine, the exercise is 30 mins a day, and they have portion cups you use to measure out food for each meal. You actually end up eating quite a bit still. But if your breastfeeding, you'll need more calories than what it will allot you for each day.
