P90x sucess stories?

It's been laying around and I need to lse 50 pounds is it worth the try??

I love the kempo. It's high energy, fun and makes you feel like a badass. I was doing the videos for a couple months (along with eating better) and lost 10lbs.

I feel like diet is important in weight loss and exercise is important in fitness. You can obviously do both for the best of all worlds! :)

If you have it why not do it? Of course it'll help if you stay committed. Even if you need to modify.

If you have 50 lbs to lose I would start with something a little easier like someone else said. Buying a Fitbit and getting 10,000 steps everyday really helped me lose a few pounds (I only wanted to lose about 15, I have 5 more to go.) And watching what I ate helped a lot too.

It will work if you put the effort in. Don't get discouraged at the beginning, I am in good shape and was only able to finish the first 15 minutes of the Shawn T25 ( which is a similar version to the p90x) I would suggest following the modified trainer in the beginning, you'll still get a hell of a workout.

It depends on your current fitness level. If you don't currently exercise on a regular basis you may want to start with something a little easier like a Jilliam Michaels dvd. My husband did P90x back when he was lifting 2hrs/day and he said it was incredibly hard.
