Possible UTI ?

Lately it has been burning when I pee and a little icky/uncomfortable in that area. Does this mean I have a UTI or should I be worried it is something more serious?

That burning sensation when you pee is definitely the hallmark of a UTI, but that's also a common symptom of Ghonneria, Chlamydia, and other STI's. I agree that you should take an at home UTI test, and if that comes back negative I would contact your doctor right away. STI's can commonly only present one or two symptoms, or sometimes no symptoms at all.

I currently have a UTI that is being treated and it was very painful and I felt irritated when I peed. If you want to see ahead of time before you go to the doctor, get an at home UTI test. I believe that Azo makes the test that I used. (It was positive obviously) but I may have waited too long to get it checked out because now my kidneys (lower back) are in excruciating pain. Just be careful and go see a doctor!

If you have the feeling of needing to pee frequently and every time you go there's nothing coming out or just little bits at a time it's most likely a uti. Otherwise perhaps go see a doctor. Ps. If you drink heaps of water uti's go away fairly quickly
