Period sex?

I wouldn't fancy it on my heaviest days but has anyone ever tried it? What's it like, messy, lots of blood?

We did it every month I felt up to it before I fell pregnant. Never had an issue with the blood to be honest we always put a towel down and never had it leak onto the bed or anything obviously there is mess after but there is after normal sex anyway. But everyone is different :)

I'm normally on top if we have period sex and it just goes on him and we have baby wipes on the side to clean up, I think it helps my cramps and makes my period less heavy

In the shower, doggy style. Not the best but it's an easy clean up.

I get extremely horny on my period and so does my man. He thinks period sex is gross but sometimes he can't control it and we end up doing it. I wouldn't on the heaviest days, but light days not so bad. Just lay a towel down. Also the Soft Cups can be used during sex, just put a new one in before hand and you won't have leakage. We've tried it. It works. Just don't do any positions where it's to deep, otherwise there's risk of pushing the cup into far. Cowgirl, missionary and spooning work best. Doggy, is a no go especially if he likes fast/rough. It definitely relieves cramps for me.

Lots of people I know say it makes no difference maybe just a little bit of blood. 
I tried it once and it made my cramps so so much worse, wouldn't try it again!
