Late period

So on the day I was supposed to start my period I started a regular flow , next day was very pinkish and after that I did not have it anymore me and my BF are ttc not sure if I'm pregnant days before my period was due I did a blood test at work and said negative has anyone had this happen and ended up being pregnant ?
