Tampons, pads or menstrual cups?

I currently use tampons and pads. I'm wanting to try menstual cups but I have some concerns. What do you use and why? What are some pros and cons for menstual cups. 😊

I use menstrual cups and cloth pads, the only negative thing I can think of is learning to put it in, there are so many different folds and videos on YouTube so check those out. Other than that the cup is the best thing I have ever used! I love it, it's so easy, so much more comfortable and convenient. Plus unless you're using organic cotton tampons and pads the research I did shows that you are being exposed to nasty chemicals such as bleach which can actually make your period heavier, longer, and more painful. My favourite was the meluna cup but check out reviews and lengths before you buy and good luck!

I was a diva cup user, and I really liked it. It has a bit of a learning curve but once you've got it down it's amazing. There's less smell and less discomfort like with a pad. Plus it's cheaper and you don't run out!

They also have reusable pads that work really well, and can be washed in the washing machine. My favorite brand is called PartyInMyPants. They come in three options, organic cotton, cotton, and flannel. Definetly worth checking out. 😊

I use tampons and pads together on my heavy days but mainly tampons and a light liner just in case. I've always wanted to try menstrual cups too!
