Tiny with a big baby??

I'm young and I'm also small they say my baby is about 7 1/2 pounds already I'm 38 weeks I'm really nervous to give birth to a big baby I'm nervous in general but the thought of him gaining another pound or 2 scares me I don't think I can handle an 8-9 pound baby!! Like I said I'm really small!! Anyone else have this problem I hope my doctor was off buy a pound lol

My little man had been measuring big since 20 weeks and at 35 weeks my baby measured 9 lbs. Because if this and other factors I'm having a Csection at 39 weeks. By then they estimated he'd be between 10-11 lbs.

My mother was tiny when she got pregnant with my brother, he was ten pounds and she had him with no mess at all. 8-9 lbs is pretty normal. have faith that your body won't make a baby that is too big for you.

Their ultrasound measurements aren't really accurate all the time. And i know someone who just gave birth to a 10 pound baby! She's only 16 and about 4'11 and pretty much on the small side! It's possible and she said the labor actually went really well and she couldn't believe she pushed out a 10 pound baby! Haha. You can do it mama!
