Abused as child?

What do u go thru on a daily?  How does it affect ur relations with others?

Abused sexually and emotionally by family members, it's a main factor in my depression, anxiety, bipolar, and ednos that I have today. Not saying it caused it, but it has made alot of my mental illnesses worse & I deal with them on a daily basis. It's a struggle and music and art is my outlet, and it helps me alot. And I also thank God everyday for blessing me with a wonderful boyfriend who helps me and understands (not fully, but we're getting there) what I'm going through. So to everybody else, please keep your head up because there is a light at the end of the tunnel. ♡

I was also abused as a child in many ways I don't want to discuss openly. It effected me in so many ways. I am over protective of my children, I have interpersonal relationship issues. Eating disorders, borderline personality disorder with dissociative traits. I'm also scared of "simple things" like the phone ringing or the door bell and the dark and afraid of belts and garages I'm also scared of cold water if I don't expect it. All because,of the things done to me as a child.

Child abuse should never happen...it shouldn't hurt to be a child.

Emotionally abused by mother, I'm now naturally submissive and more tolerant of other people's bullshit and stupidity than I should be. I suck it up and stay even if things are bad just like my dad does, and it has taken a huge toll on my mental health and stability. In a home that isn't peaceful and safe I still stay. I could leave but I don't have the financial stability yet... as much as it is hell it will pay off in the end if I tough it out a while longer. I will always be this way, but when the time is right I hope to have the strength to make a change in my life and be free from abuse.

It's really hard for me to be around males. They make me nervous and if I'm in an enclosed space with them alone, I can't stand it, I'll panic and leave. Sometimes I can't even be around my boyfriend because I just need to be alone. I grew up getting hit and being hit hard with belts also. My dad hit as hard as he could, child protective services didn't care about the bruises all over me, and that just made it worse. I got my hair pulled and was dragged by it and ended up with clumps of hair falling out afterwards. I especially can't be near older, bigger built men. 😞 unfortunately when I went into labor, there were only male doctors as they mostly worked the night, while females mainly worked the day. Thank god they were all smaller built and more lean so it wasn't too bad when they had to break my water etc. just a bit uncomfortable having them be around that area. I did want to just leave the entire time though. I avoid males everywhere, store check outs, services (clinics and such), etc. I don't realize I'm doing it but it's just hard to be around them.

Sexually abused as a child. I developed anxiety and depression in middle school which I still struggle with, and I also developed an eating disorder in high school.  I had a hard time being physically intimate with people, even up until I met my husband. It also caused some issues with my immediate family because they knew what was going on and it was kind of unspoken thing that had happened.

With good, positive, supportive people surrounding me, I am ok. I tend to thrive in this setting. With shitty, arrogant, rude, and disrespectful people: I feel vulnerable, agitated, paranoid, depressed. 
I cant trust anyone though and I read into everyone even when there isnt a threat. Few too many times Ive read them right. I hate being hyperaware.

I was raised by my adoptive grandmother. She was a very violent person... I remember her hitting me and telling me I was going to be so stupid and a whore. I was 11. I always knew she told me these words because of the woman who gave birth to me which I personally hate and wish she just had aborted me. :/ 
Being adopted and abused since a kid took away so many things from me. I have had depression and tried to kill myself 3 times. I hate kids and I don't want to get pregnant because I'm scared of doing the same that my biological mother did to me. Among so many things.

I was touched by my grandfather as a child. It only deeply started bothering me a couple of months ago and I'm already 24. I guess it was relatively dormant/I didn't realize how awful that had been. I'm not really sure exactly how it was affected me but now I just feel like it has ruined my whole life and I didn't even know that was the reason.
