Brown spotting instead of period

I was subpost to start my period 4 days ago hit have only been brown spotting. I took a prep test and it was BFN. I have never been this late! Any idea why I'm so late? Or what's up with just brown spotting? Been TTC for over a year!!

Sometimes you can have a light period.... So just Wat and then retest

It might be that u r pregnant but the pregnancy tests do not read it yet. Just wait a little and retest

Idk if this helps any but i have had brown spotting before went to the gyn she said it was left over period that had not exited the cervix during my period
