Which way do you wipe?

Forget what you've heard about what you're supposed to do... How do you personally wipe? No judgement!

How about both? If I've pooped, I wipe front to back. If it's just pee, then back to front. Although "back", for me, starts only as far back as the vaginal opening, not the butthole.

There really is a scientific reason to wiping front to back. Females have a very short urethra so it is easy to get bacteria into it if you wipe from back to front. Going from front to back gives you more protection from this and helps you avoid getting uti s as frequently. Just wanted to give a little info.

I was never taught to wipe front to back and it was more comfortable for me to wipe back to front growing up (not when wiping my butt tho lol) but knowing the difference now I have changed and starting "dabbing" instead of wiping. I can't get use to wiping front to back and dabbing instead of wiping helps with any toilet paper residue from getting in there.

There's a reason why you're not supposed to wipe back to front... A friend of mine continually got UTIs and couldn't figure out why until I asked her home she wiped. She told me B to F... She switched and low and behold she stopped getting UTIs!

Ok so I wipe back to front and front to back. Let me explain; back to front it for vaginia like opening of vaginia is the "back" and when I poop I go front to back like it's easier. Why would you take one long wipe instead of 2 smaller wipes:/? I have always wiped this way maybe I'm weird but it seems more sanitary to me. Like wiping one then getting new piece of toilet paper and wiping the other

I used to wipe back to front, never starting as far back as my back side because that was most comfortable. I remember when my niece was born, I asked my sister how I was supposed to change her and she said "front to back, just like you do on yourself!" It never clicked what she meant until I had to give a urine sample at the doctor a few years ago and she emphasized wiping front to back. Ever since, it's front to back for me.
