My boyfriend says he doesn't want to get married ever in his life. The thing is, he's joked about running off together and doing at a drive thru chapel on the way and he says he planned on marrying his ex girlfriend. I've tried convincing him with the tax benefits of marriage, but he won't budge. He says he wants to spend his life with me, that he sees himself with me 50+ years from now, but he doesn't need a price of paper to make it official. I'm not sure if this has something to do with the relationship he had with his ex and how it ended, or if it's just me he doesn't want to marry, but I'm kind of driving myself crazy thinking about it.
