Not knowing if you should date your Bestfriend.

I have a guy Bestfriend that I've known for 10yrs. Literally since high school....we have been hanging out a lot lately coming to see and such. We've had sex and kissing all that stuff. I'm at a stage now to where I not sure how to tell him that I would like to try a relationship.
