Anyone have hypothyroidism and trying to conceive or has conceived?

My husband and I have been ttc for about 5 months now(I know it's not that long) and I've been reading if your levels are off it can be difficult to conceive. Just wondering if anyone has gone through this or has any insight.

This is a concern of mine as last year I was diagnosed with papillary carcinoma(thyroid cancer) and went through a complete thyroid removal and radioactive iodine treatments as well. We recently started trying for #2 and in unsure and uneasy about how that is going to affect our chances especially since I am now solely reliant on synthroid for my "thyroid" functions.

I was hypothyroid when I got pregnant with my son, had a normal healthy pregnancy. Thyroid issues can cause problems, yes but don't always.

I have Hashimoto's. Having a thyroid disorder can make it very difficult to concieve or maintain a pregnancy. Your levels need to be in a normal range to have a healthy pregnancy. I'm currently 33.5weeks.

I totally want to know what people say. I used to have hypothyroidism. It went normal a couple years ago. Now my SO and I are TTC. On our 3rd month. I need to go get my levels checked because I do have symptoms of my levels being off again.

Anyone have hypothyroidism and trying to conceive or has conceived?
